We are one of 31 centers funded by U.S. Department of Energy to conduct free assessments for mid-sized industries. Our staff is composed of a team of professional staff and trained students. Student employees are trained in billing analysis, safety precautions, site visit procedures, and report writing. The ITAC provides students with the opportunity to learn more about practical problem solving, professional manufacturing, communication skills, and the latest energy-related technology. Syracuse ITAC alumni often go on to work for Utilities, Corporations, Energy Technology, and Engineering Firms.
