The Syracuse University Industrial Assessment Center understands that the information you provide is important.  We take steps with every client to insure that information is kept safe and confidential.

Only one version of our final report will identify your company by name.  That is the version of the report that is sent to you.  Every other document related to your assessment will be designated by a code (e.g. SU0055).  The only organizations that will know which code corresponds to a particular client are our local office at SU and our field office, located at Rutgers University.  A copy of your report will be kept on file for internal use and will not be made available to any third party.

It often adds value to our report to have the most accurate data available as to size and cost of equipment and services in support of the implementation of a recommendation.  However, in dealing with vendors, we will never disclose your name or the name of your company.  We do not want the responsibility of providing your contact information to a third party, so we will leave it to you to engage with any vendors.

            It may be that our working with you will result in a good case study for publication; however, such a case study will be subject to your review and approval. 

We are obliged to submit a list of client names and addresses to the field office.  This list does not associate plant names, plant production, operations, or cost data.
