Lead Student Steps Down to Pursue Studies Abroad
The Syracuse University Industrial Assessment Center would like to formally wish Jillian Burgoyne a goodbye as she continues to pursue her goals and complete her M.S. in Engineering Management in Germany.
Jillian is currently an exchange student at the Technical University of Dresden where she will be working in the Institute of Building Climatology. While in Germany, she will be researching building energy simulation software in order to ascertain strengths of each program and develop a detailed tutorial that will assist upper level engineering students who wish to calculate energy consumption for buildings. She is scheduled to graduate with her M.S. in engineering management from Syracuse University in May of 2016.
During her time as an employee of the SU IAC, Jillian has participated in 45 assessments over the span of four years. She was the lead analyst on 11 of these assessments. Jillian began her time at the center during her sophomore year and finally became Lead Engineer of the Center during her first year of graduate school. She held this position for a year before embarking for Germany. Mark Seibel has succeeded her in position of Lead Engineer.
The Center congratulates Jillian and wishes her the best of luck in future endeavors.
