As the 2012 school year comes to a close, we must say goodbye to some of our IAC students. Our lead student, Chris Buttitta, graduated with his M.S. in Engineering Management this spring. Chris joined the IAC as a sophomore in 2008. In May 2010, he graduated with his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and signed on as a graduate student with the IAC program. In May 2011, he was appointed lead student of the Syracuse Center. Over the course of his IAC tenure, Chris took the lead role on six energy assessments and participated in a total 32. In June, Chris will begin work at Clough Harbour & Associates (CHA) in Albany, New York.
Chris will be succeeded by Meghan Reilly. Meghan has been with the IAC since her freshman year and just graduated Magna Cum Laude with her B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. In the fall, she will be pursuing an M.S. in Engineering Management.
Abigail Hutchins joined the IAC program in January 2010 as a junior. Although we wanted to keep her with us, Abby had her heart set on entering the “real world” and will be starting work in June at Consolidated Edison in New York City. Abby participated in six assessments during her short time at the IAC and led two.
