IAC students attend NCCEC conference in Lake Placid, NY
Lead student Meghan Reilly tagged along with Clarkson analysts Dan Barron, Mike DiLorenzo and Matt Russell and attended the North Coutry Clean Energy Conference (NCCEC) in Lake Placid, NY. The NCCEC is “a forum for educators, practitioners, community leaders, industry professionals and others to share information about clean energy opportunities in the North Country.” Over the course of two days, the students participated in a number of presentations related to solar, wind and hydro energy, biomass fuels, conservation and efficiency.
The students presented a poster on the objectives of the IAC program and distributed brochures in the hopes that some of the conference participants would be interested in energy assessments for manufacturing facilities. They engaged in conversations with many people who were interested in the program and were excited that Clarkson University was involved.
