Biography:

Jianshun Zhang is the Director of the Energy and Indoor Environmental Systems, and an Associate Professor, in the Department of Mechanical, Aerospace and Manufacturing Engineering at Syracuse University. Before joining the Syracuse University faculty he worked for the National Research Council of Canada (NRC). At the NRC, he served as Project Manager and Principal Investigator of an interdisciplinary strategic research project on Material Emissions and Indoor Air Quality. Dr. Zhang twice received the IRC/NRC Outstanding Achievement Award, in addition to the ASHRAE Certificate of Appreciation Award. He is a peer reviewer for ASHRAE, ASTM, ACGIH, AWMA, ASAE, the Center for Indoor Air Research, Journal of Thermal Insulation and Building Science, and major international conferences such as "ROOMVENT," "Indoor Air," and "Engineering Solutions to IAQ Problems."
